Dental Hygiene

Here at the Nina Kiani, DMD practice, we urge our patients to take good care of their teeth, including focusing on proper dental hygiene. Most of our patients know to brush their teeth regularly, but may not have the right technique. Dr. Nina Kiani offers education for proper brushing technique. This includes brushing their teeth with the toothbrush at a 45-degree angle, brushing their tongue to remove bacteria, cleaning the insides of the teeth and tilting the brush vertically to reach these places of the teeth, and brushing in wide strokes. By using these important techniques and focusing on all areas of dental hygiene, our patients have excellent oral health and prevent more serious complications.
